It is nine o'clock in the night, and like always, I'm outside with my friends. While we have dinner in the rusty old restaurant, I worry what my mom would be doing, because I was supposed to be at home at 5. I cannot even swallow my food properly, making fake smiles to my friends to cover up the worry. I then force myself to eat, getting my eyes off the clock. My friends tell me I should pay, and I worry how I'll pay for the subway home. As I go out of the rusty old door, my friends say good bye, and I feel a vibration, so strong as if it is penetrating my leg. It's Mom. My hands shake as I march down the subway stairs. I close my eyes and hang up the phone. I look at the clock and it is already 11. As I go through the stairs, I witness the drunk, the homeless, and people wearing hoods, pushing me. I bend my head to ignore them, and put my hands on the pocket. I wait for the subway, leaning myself to the trail, but not too close; because I can fall. Then the subway dashes through, in front of me, strong winds going through my force. I then take the subway and look around. So-ju bottles, homeless people, I can smell alcohol and rotten food everywhere. I finally manage to get a seat, and take out my golden necklace. It's the only thing I've got. The man next to me is looking at my necklace under my shirt. I finally get off the subway, and exhale before I go into the jewelry store. I sit down on the seat, and ask for a good price for the necklace. 50 bucks. I then go down the basement, and get the cards. I give Robby 5 bucks for better cards, and the game began. I look at my cards, sweating and shaking my hand. No match...... I close my eyes, losing all my chips on the rusty table. With empty pockets, my phone rings, and I throw my phone and destroy it with anger. I then see my mom, and I sweat as I duck my head down with fear.
